The bark was invaded by insects which carved out tracts within the top layer of wood.
These tracks have been left in place and is the main feature of this piece. The candle cups have been placed at strategic areas to enhance the natural wood contours.
This is a ONE OF A KIND piece which can be used on a table or mantle.
CARE: Clean with a dry/soft cloth. Polish with car or boat wax. The candle cups are fitted for only 1 hole, thus if removing must be replaced in the same hole. The wood will darken to a golden colour as it matures.

Your item should be in the original packaging and not be used. It must also be returned in the original packaging.
